The Renoir Suite entry is through the French doors, easily accessible from the coffee room. A beautiful expansive living room awaits you with an oak cathedral ceiling. The stunning 15′ wood-burning fireplace is built of basalt stone from a Washington State quarry that no longer exists. The scene depicted of the Strait of Juan de Fuca within the framed windows is dramatic and touches something deep within. The private library invites you to relax with a good book. Or watch a movie while warming yourself by the fire. The fine Asian-inspired furnishings competes with the view for your attention.
A King bed, a beautiful walk-in shower for two, and a second television complete your well-appointed room. Satin finished robes, slippers and a view of gardens as well as the ocean make this a very desirable room. The setting is a private garden with roses, drumstick primrose, and lady slippers. When the window of the bedroom is open you can hear the sound of the waterfall from the adjacent woodland garden. A queen bed with luxurious sheets, a fireplace and a large two-person whirlpool tub combine to make you feel pampered. The atrium kitchenette with its own couch and television allow you to “hang out” without the need to go anywhere else.
We realize that some of our Cottage guests would like to escape for an early morning hike or other outdoor adventures before our chef’s tasty breakfast menu is served. As a result, please note that our amazing 5-course breakfast is not included in the nightly rate of the Cottage, but it is available for an additional charge during the reservation process.
